The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel London Launches Prep & Prime

This August, The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane will launch a four-week Prep & Prime Programme for brides, grooms and partygoers wanting to look and feel their best in the countdown to their special day.  

The UK Weddings Task Force forecasts that 350,000 weddings will take place in 2022, so the programme is introduced at a time when feeling confident and radiant is key.

Week 1: Seasonal Body Exfoliation followed by choice of a Detox wrap or Massage

To begin, guests will experience a top to toe 30-minute dead salt exfoliation followed by choice of a detox wrap or massage for 90 minutes clay wrap infused with essential oils to address the effects of the changing seasons on the skin and body: Summer to refresh, Autumn to renew, Winter to nourish and Spring to revive.

This will be followed by a personalised massage tailored to individual needs and targeting the areas of concern to work deep into the muscle layers. It will address trigger points, release stress, boost circulation and improve muscle and skin tone.

Week 2: Haute Couture Active Preparation and Oxygen Treatment followed by Party Feet Prep

To regenerate the skin through micro-peel resurfacing and hydration, this medical grade oxygen treatment delivers enhanced efficacy using a serum enriched with vitamin A and hyaluronic acid, which is applied using nature’s most powerful healing element, oxygen.

The results are visibly plump and firm skin. To follow and to prep party feet, guests will indulge in an exfoliating foot bath and massage.

Week 3: Rasul and Massage Experience

Set in the private Sky Suite, week three will see couples or individuals enjoy a Rasul treatment with a face and body exfoliation to remove dead skin cells followed by a mineral-rich face and body mud mask to purify and cleanse the skin, all applied at their leisure in a private steam room.

They will enjoy a glass of bubbles and a nutritious treat before relaxing with an indulgent 60-minute massage of their choice.

Week 4: V-TOX Oxygen Facial and Hand Treatment

The V-TOX Oxygen facial is designed for clients who want to see visible results but do not want to undergo an invasive cosmetic procedure.

V-TOX, which employs neuropeptides and algae derivatives, is added to specific areas that need to be treated, or a fine layer can be applied to the entire face and neck. The product is then infused into the skin via a steady flow of oxygen.

To finish off the programme, guests will experience a creamy hand scrub followed by a lower arm massage using anti-ageing serum. The duration of each weekly session is two hours, and it is priced at GBP 385 per person per week or GBP 1,400 for the full four-week programme.
