At the heart of this collaboration is Chef Vasileios Koukaras hailing from northern Greece, where his culinary journey began in the family village of Leptokaria. Inspired by the teachings of his mother and grandmother, Chef Vasileios views cooking as a relationship, one that must be nurtured with love and passion.

Vasileios believes that the essence of Greek cuisine lies in its ingredients, their smells, tastes, and the stories they tell. "Cooking is like a relationship; it must be done with love and passion," says Chef Vasileios, who feels blessed to have Greek cuisine as part of his heritage.
