Meliá Zahara Atlanterra Reopens with New Experience

On June 9, 2022, the Meliá Zahara Atlanterra Spain will reopen for the summer season, offering guests new experiences after a comprehensive renovation of its facilities and an overhaul of services.

Located in Zahara de los Atunes in the region of Andalusia, the hotel boasts an unbeatable location alongside the sea in the province of Cadiz, and its new features make it one of the most outstanding hotels in what is one of the most special destinations in Spain.

Meliá Zahara Atlanterra is located on the beach in Zahara de los Atunes and is one of the most prestigious hotels in the area. After the improvements to its key facilities and the introduction of new services, it aims to enhance the experience of guests by offering them the best possible holiday option by the sea.

The new features for the summer include a comprehensive renovation of public areas such as its reception, lounge, and swimming pools. In addition, all the guestrooms at the Meliá Zahara Atlanterra have been refurbished or renovated to offer guests the best experience during their stay.

Meliá Zahara Atlanterra provides 283 rooms, including renovated Double Rooms and Family Suites, specially designed to meet the needs of families. The hotel will also inaugurate a number of spectacular villas decorated in Balinese style which have their own private garden and pool and are perfect for the most discerning travellers and guests seeking extra comfort and peace.

The villas and a selection of the best renovated rooms also offer guests all of The Level services. Guests who opt for this service have access to private spaces such as The Level Lounge, a new, open-plan space measuring more than 400m2 with a private check-in area and delicious snacks and drinks served throughout the day.

One of the new features this season at the Meliá Zahara Atlanterra is a children's area called The Kidsdom, specially designed for families.

Kidsdom offers different clubs full of fun for children aged between 8 months and 10 years old, in addition to new facilities such as a children's pool and Splash Park, and a pool for families with a sandy area with sand from Zahara de los Atunes Beach.

The Meliá Zahara Atlanterra Hotel will also offer wellness experiences in a new health and beauty centre, including a spa with the most advanced circuits and treatments and a fully equipped gym.

The hotel facilities also include a spectacular lake-style pool with Bali beds and hammocks which are ideal for relaxing, and the stunning exotic gardens which surround the hotel and make it a genuine oasis.

The dining options at the Meliá Zahara Atlanterra are another of its major attractions for this season. Facilities include the Mosaico buffet restaurant for breakfast and dinner, and a new à la carte restaurant named GAIA Grill specialising in grilled meats on the new infinity terrace in the main building.
