Franschhoek Ignites The Arts with ‘Franschhoek Creates’ Festival

Franschhoek's vibrant arts scene will come alive from November 1st to 17th during the much-anticipated ‘Franschhoek Creates’ festival, which showcases a dazzling array of exhibitions that seamlessly weave together creativity, culture and community.

At the historic Manor House, Boschendal x Brundyn, in collaboration with David Krut Projects, presents "Beyond the Page," a thought-provoking exhibition that seamlessly merges art and literature. Featuring works from renowned artists such as Willem Boshoff, Wilma Cruise and William Kentridge, the exhibition challenges the traditional dichotomy between image and word, revealing the deeper meanings that arise when these elements intertwine.

Continuing this exploration of artistic expression, Caryn Scrimgeour's exquisite solo exhibition, "Things I Lost Along the Way," at Everard Read at Leeu Estates is a must-visit.
