Four Seasons Istanbul at Sultanahmet, located in an iconic building and uniquely positioned on the historical peninsula, welcomes guests with a brand new surprise. 

Kurna Spa, a first for the Hotel, elevates the spa experience to an authentic and different level with its design, expert therapists, facials and skin treatments, and massage and hammam therapies.

Balinese massage therapists and Turkish hammam therapists provide service at Kurna Spa, where all offerings are curated with care to reflect the quality of Four Seasons.

Kurna Spa, open every day from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm, features two hammams, one for single use and one for two people, a massage room, and a steam room and lounge, separate for male and female guests. In addition, the large hammam in Kurna Spa is offered for parties and bridal hammam events for groups of six people.

The Spa, which focuses on creating experiences in a traditional setting, provides services with an experienced male hammam therapist in the men’s section and a female hammam therapist, who comes from a long line of hammam therapists with many years of experience, in the women’s section.

The soaps used in Kurna Spa are provided by Atölye Patika, founded by the herbalist Emine Boyner, and made from premium quality olive oil in Ayvalık, purifying body and soul with an Aegean breeze.

In addition, all the organic and pure massage oils used in the massage treatments are made by Atelier Eso in Ayvalık, found by Esra İzgi, delivering a holistic relaxation.

In facials and skin treatments, Kurna Spa prefers the popular face and skin care brands Biologique Recherche and Sodashi, which provide highly effective care.

The French brand Biologique Recherche, with more than four decades of experience, offers unique and personalized skincare products with active ingredients enhanced in a laboratory.

Sodashi, available only at Four Seasons in Istanbul, is a unique brand that offers chemical-free, vegan products and treatments, which help to cleanse and purify the chakras and energies. Both brands deliver unparalleled rejuvenation.

The white marble mosaic used in the private entrance of the hammam and a sofa designed with a contemporary interpretation of traditional palace furniture welcome guests. The hammam, created with curved walls and arches, surrounds the guests like a cocoon, making them feel warm and well.

As a soft contrast to the authentic stone washbasin that adds a touch of tradition to the design of the hammam, Arabescato marble is used in the other areas, with sophisticated accents of gray Pietra marble.

The bespoke wood elements, lighting fixtures, and mirrors are made by local craftsmen. Traditional lanterns are interpreted with contemporary touches and used in lighting while smoked oak and warm bronze tones enhance the wood elements.
