Flydubai has suspended its scheduled service to Mogadishu, the capital city of Somalia with effect from 11June 2024. The airline will operate the last Dubai-Mogadishu-Dubai rotation on 10 June, 2024.
The Dubai-based airline made this known in an official letter dated 5 June 2024 and addressed to the Director General, Somalia Civil Aviation Authority, Ahmed Moallin. The airline cited 'operational reasons' as the reason for the suspension.
According to the letter which was signed Seraw Beweketu, the airline’s Senior Regional Manager - East and Central Africa, flydubai shall process full refund to all passengers who have booked their ticket beyond this date.
"I would like to thank Somalia Civil Aviation and Mogadishu airport authorities for all the support which has been extended to us during the past one year and half." the letter said.
It'll be recalled that flydubai launched flight service to Mogadishu in March 2023. Until its suspension, the service operated daily using a Boeing 737 aircraft.

Prices in the Sol Torremolinos Don Pablo are the same than two weeks ago.
Good location astounding but the staffs are rude and they make me wait so long for the service. They charge me more than what is on the website and did not refund me the manager is not helping with the issue
