Ibom Air has apologised to its esteemed customers for the recent flight disruptions they experienced while travelling with the airline across its network.
In a statement signed by Amaka Echetabu, its Director of Airline Services, Ibom Air said that the delays were due to unscheduled aircraft maintenance events.
"Please accept from us at Ibom Air, our most sincere apologies for letting you down badly today.
It has been a few days of disrupted services for us as we try to cope with multiple, unexpected aircraft maintenance events. We are painfully aware of how much these disruptions would have inconvenienced you. We acknowledge that these have not been our proudest moments and we once again apologize unreservedly for it.
Please be rest assured we have accepted all the feedback and learnings from this and will take all necessary steps to do much better going forward, so that we can continue to earn and keep your confidence. We are truly sorry."
Ibom Air is one of the most reliable airlines in Nigeria. It currently has 7 aircraft flying to 7 domestic and regional destinations, including Accra in Ghana. The airline has a firm order for 10 Airbus A220s.
