Two weeks after suspending operations, Nigeria's Azman Air has stated that it's almost ready to resume scheduled flight operations. The airline disclosed this in a press release signed by its Accountable Manager, Alhaji Hadi Abdulmunafi.
"Azman Air would like to clarify that the reports circulating in various media outlets regarding the indefinite suspension of Azman Air's operations are inaccurate and do not reflect the current status of our airline. We are currently finalizing the maintenance of two of our aircraft, and we anticipate resuming our full flight operations very soon," the statement said.
According to the airline, "the temporary pause in our services was a necessary measure to ensure the highest standards of safety and reliability for our valued passengers. We understand the inconvenience this may have caused and deeply appreciate the continued support and understanding of our customers.
Our team has been working tirelessly to expedite the maintenance process, and we are now in the final stages. Azman Air is committed to providing safe, reliable, and efficient air travel services, and we are eager to welcome passengers back on board in the near future.
We will keep our customers and the public informed of any further developments through our official channels. Thank you for your patience and loyalty as we work towards resuming our operations at the earliest possible time," the statement concluded.
It will be recalled that on 12 August, 2024, Azman Air suspended flight operations indefinitely, citing ongoing C-checks on all its aircrafts and high cost of operations. In an internal memo titled 'Placement of Leave Without Pay' issued to workers, the airline directed its staff to embark on leave without pay.

Wonderful event and topics discussed, hopefully we see the manifestations in our African airline businesses in the nearest future. Kudos to you all.
