Boeing will temporary suspend production operations at its Puget Sound area facilities where its wide-body aircraft including 777s, 787s, 767s and 747s, are manufactured.
The suspension is in response to the accelerating spread of the coronavirus in the region, and will take effect from Wednesday, 25 March, 2020. It is expected to last for 14 days.
The suspension is to ensure the well-being of its employees, their families and the local community, and will include an orderly shutdown consistent with the requirements of its customers.
During the shutdown, Boeing will continue to monitor government guidance and actions on COVID-19 and its associated impacts on all company operations.
Boeing will also use the shutdown period to conduct additional deep cleaning activities at impacted sites and establish rigorous criteria for return to work.
Production employees should continue to report for their assigned shifts today and will receive guidance on their role in the suspension shutdown process.
According to Boeing, Puget Sound area-based employees who can work from home will continue to do so, while those who cannot work from home will receive paid leave for the initial 10 working days of the suspension.
Currently, more than 10 Boeing employees at the wide-body final assembly lines have tested positive to coronavirus, with one death recorded.

Prices in the Sol Torremolinos Don Pablo are the same than two weeks ago.
Good location astounding but the staffs are rude and they make me wait so long for the service. They charge me more than what is on the website and did not refund me the manager is not helping with the issue
