This year, Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza is partnering with Egypt’s biggest annual art exhibition, Art D’Égypte, for this year’s incarnation: Reimagined Narratives.

Open to the public till November 9, 2019, Reimagined Narratives will showcase 28 acclaimed and award-winning contemporary Egyptian artists who will display a unique collection of work in an open art gallery along one of the world’s oldest streets: El Moez Li-Din Allah Al-Fatimi Street in historic Cairo.

A UNESCO Heritage site, known as the “open-air museum,” El Moez Street is home to antique markets; the Al-Aqmar Mosque; one of Cairo’s most impressive assemblies of minarets, domes and striped-stone facades; and several well-preserved medieval mansions and palaces.

The exhibition will occupy four different historical venues - Muhib Al-Din Hall, Maq’ad Mamay Al-Sayfi, Qalawun Complex and Bayt al Suhaymi - and will form part of a wider program of educational workshops, initiatives, speaker events and further exhibitions in downtown Cairo.

Art is an integral part of the guest experience at Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza, with more than 200 museum-grade contemporary artworks that come together to form the Hotel’s unique art collection; considered to be one of the largest and most significant private collections in Egypt.

To celebrate Art D’Égypte 2019, the Hotel will create a series of emotional connections for its guests through curated itineraries to inspire exploration of the myriad offerings of Cairo’s vibrant art scene, beyond the Pyramids and museums.

Furthermore, the Hotel will bring Reimagined Narratives to life with in-room culinary delights for guests staying in suites at Four Seasons, crafted by the expert culinary team led by Executive Chef Gianluca Visani, and inspired by one of the Hotel’s most famous sculptures.

Other cultural highlights to explore while in the city include a first-class program of events in the state-of-the-art Cairo Opera House, and the re-opening of Princess Aisha Fahmy Palace following a 15-year restoration.
