KLM Expands in America with New Service to Austin, Texas


KLM is expanding its American network with the launch of a new direct flight service between Amsterdam and Austin, Texas with effect from 4 May 2020.

The three-weekly service will operate on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays using an Airbus A330-300 offering 292 seats including 30 World Business Class seats, 40 Economy Comfort seats and 222 Economy class seats.

Flight KL0667 will depart Schiphol at 12:40 and arrive Austin at 16:10 local time. Flight KL0668 will depart Austin at 18:00 local time and arrive at Schiphol the next day at 10:25 hours.

Austin is the 19th North Atlantic destination to be served by KLM. The new KLM flights expand the Air France-KLM transatlantic network and augment the joint-venture portfolio with Delta Air Lines.

Austin is the state capital of Texas. It is famous for being the "Live Music Capital of the World" and is also regarded as a centre for modern technologies because of the large number of tech companies based there.
