South Africa Tourism has said it will reschedule the 2019 Africa’s Travel Indaba, following last week's address by President Cyril Rampahosa, who confirmed that 08 May 2019 will be the date for the national elections.
The 2019 Indaba was scheduled to take place from 06-09 May, 2019 at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli International Convention Centre (ICC) in Durban.
The International Convention Centre also serves as the nerve centre for elections in the KwaZulu Natal province and takes priority over all other events.
According to South African Tourism (SAT) CEO, SisaNtshona, the authority is currently exploring all viable alternative options in light of the announcement of the election date.
While appreciate the understanding of its buyers, exhibitors and delegates who will now await a new date to attend Indaba, SAT said it would consult with its various partners and stakeholders.
According to Tshifhiwa Tshivhengwa, the CEO of Tourism Business Council of South Africa, Indaba will still be a fantastic show to attend, he encouraged delegates to attend once the new date is confirmed.
Indaba is Africa’s biggest travel and trade show with over 7,000 delegates from 80 countries attending last year’s event.

Prices in the Sol Torremolinos Don Pablo are the same than two weeks ago.
Good location astounding but the staffs are rude and they make me wait so long for the service. They charge me more than what is on the website and did not refund me the manager is not helping with the issue
