South African Airways Adds Flight to Accra-Washington Route

South African Airways (SAA) has increased frequency on nonstop flights between Accra’s Kotoka International Airport and Washington, D.C. Airport to 5 weekly starting 1 April 2019.

SAA’ flights from Johannesburg to Accra will now be available five days a week with continuing service to Washington operating on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.

The increase of flights will support the new code share partnership with Africa World Airlines by offering convenient connections between Accra and destinations in West Africa including Lagos, Abuja, Monrovia, and Freetown.

SAA will continue to operate two wekly flights between Washington Dulles and Johannesburg via Dakar, Senegal providing service on the only nonstop service between the U.S. and Senegal.

SAA’s flights between Washington-Dulles and Accra are operated with the airline's Airbus A330-300 featuring 46 full-flat Premium Business Class seats and 203 seats in Economy Class.

Customers travelling in both classes enjoy extensive menus on the IFE system, in-seat power ports, freshly prepared meals and complimentary bar service featuring South African wines.

Currently, SAA offers the only nonstop flight between Ghana and Washington D.C. and offers travellers convenient connections to/from over 100 cities across the U.S. and Canada.

Wow! Stunning! Hilton seems to be taking Africa by storm. Just a couple of years back, they opened the first ever in Eswatini.

Thank you for sharing such a detailed review about ethiopian airlines in your post. I am an avid traveller and keep reading flight reviews to assess the options available. Your review particularly drew my attention because you have shared so many pictures to capture every aspect of the flight experience. It is a very nice effort.

I am really tempted to book the next ethiopian airlines ticket and relive your journey. The pictures shared with the post also reflect that you truly enjoyed the travel. Great post! I also like the fact that you have covered nuances about the food and entertainment service through the pictures. It helps people know what to expect on their travel by this airline.
