TAP Air Portugal, the flag carrier airline of Portugal will launch new flights from Lisbon to San Francisco, California in the United States, beginning from 10 June, 2019. TAP will fly five times per week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays with the airline's brand new Airbus A330neo that TAP flies in a world premiere.

Flights depart Lisbon at 10:00 am and arrive San Francisco at 14:40 pm, local time. On the opposite direction, the departure is at 16:10 pm, arriving Lisbon at 11:25 am the following day.

San Francisco will be the TAP´s 8th destination in North America and the 3rd new destination for TAP in the United States in 2019. Chicago and Washington flights will launch on June 1st and June 16th, respectively.

The Airbus A330neo aircraft features state of the art personalized entertainment system and connectivity that allows for free web based messaging for all passengers.

TAP will be the first European airline to offer web based messaging on long haul flights for all clients, for free.

With the new flights, TAP will be flying to 9 destinations North America including San Francisco, Washington, Chicago, New York - JFK, New York - Newark, Boston, Miami, and Toronto.

TAP Portugal currently flies to 84 domestic and international destinations including 15 in Africa.
