Turkish Airlines Reaches Highest Load Factor Ever in July

Turkish Airlines, who recently announced the results of passenger and cargo traffic in July, achieved the highest July load factor (LF) in its history with 85.3%.

Despite the high base of July 2017, growth in the number of passengers, revenue per kilometer and LF, has been an important indicator of the continued increase in global interest to Turkey and Turkish Airlines.

The passenger growth trend continued in July, thus total number of passengers carried went up by 4% reaching 7.8 million passengers, and Load Factor went up to 85%.

In July 2018, Total Load Factor improved by 1.5 points, with an increase of 2% in capacity, while international LF increased by 1.7 points to 84.9%, domestic Load Factor stood at 88%.

During January-July, increase in demand and total number of passengers was 13% and 15%, respectively, over the same period of last year. Total number of passengers reached to 43 million.

During January-July, total LF improved by 4 points up to 81%. While international LF increased by approximately 4 points up to 81%, domestic LF went up by 2 points to 85%, thus recording the highest load factor in Turkish Airlines history for the period of January-July.

Excluding international-to-international transfer passengers (transit passengers), number of international passengers went up significantly by 18%.

Turkish Airlines, which operates flights to 304 destinations in 122 countries, added Freetown, Samarkand, Krasnodar and Moroni to its schedules during the first half of 2018.

Wow! Stunning! Hilton seems to be taking Africa by storm. Just a couple of years back, they opened the first ever in Eswatini.

Thank you for sharing such a detailed review about ethiopian airlines in your post. I am an avid traveller and keep reading flight reviews to assess the options available. Your review particularly drew my attention because you have shared so many pictures to capture every aspect of the flight experience. It is a very nice effort.

I am really tempted to book the next ethiopian airlines ticket and relive your journey. The pictures shared with the post also reflect that you truly enjoyed the travel. Great post! I also like the fact that you have covered nuances about the food and entertainment service through the pictures. It helps people know what to expect on their travel by this airline.
