Meskel Square Incident: Ethiopian Airlines Releases Statement

The management of Ethiopian Airlines Group has released a statement following the unfortunate incident in Addis Ababa last week during a rally in Meskel.
The statement read "Ethiopian Airlines Group Management and Employees wish to express their deep sorrow and profound sadness over the cowardly and violent act perpetrated on Saturday, 23 June 2018 during the peaceful rally held at Meskel Square in Addis Ababa, which led to the loss of life and injury of innocent people.
We fully support the new initiatives of our new Government and we stand together in unity with our people. The Management and Employees convey their condolences to the families of the bereaved and the injured. The National Airline stands on their side in this moment of tragedy." it said.
Thousands of Ethiopians had gathered at the Meskel Square in Addis Ababa on Saturday morning in a massive show of support for Abiy Ahmed, the new prime minister of Ethiopia.
An explosion went off among the demonstrators shortly after the prime minister wrapped up his speech, killing one person and wounding 154, 10 of whom are in critical condition.
The 41-year-old reformist prime minister, who is a former soldier took office in April. Abiy has announced a series of major reforms since taking office.
According to the Ethiopian Broadcasting Corporation, Nine individuals, including the Deputy Commissioner of the Addis Ababa Police Commission, are in custody and under investigation over shortcomings in security.

Good location astounding but the staffs are rude and they make me wait so long for the service. They charge me more than what is on the website and did not refund me the manager is not helping with the issue
