The top ten busiest air routes to, from and within Africa by passenger numbers has been revealed in a new research analyses by Routesonline.
Occupying the number spot on the list is the two-hour flight between South Africa’s legislative capital Cape Town and the country’s largest city Johannesburg, covering 1,292 km.
More than 4.7 million passengers flew between Cape Town and Johannesburg’s O.R. Tambo International Airport in the last calendar year, putting it comfortably number one in the rankings.
Second on the list is the flight between Johannesburg and Durban with a total of 2.87 million passengers. At just 498 km, the route is the shortest by distance in the top ten.
The 3rd busiest route is between Cairo, Egypt and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia with 1.7 million passengers, while the Abuja-Lagos route, Nigeria came 4th with 1.3 million passengers.
Completing the top five is Cape Town to Lanseria International Airport, situated to the north west of Johannesburg, with 1.2 million passengers.

The research has been released ahead of Routes Africa 2018, taking place in Accra, Ghana from 16 to 18 July 2018. The Afritraveller is a media partner to the event.
Routes Africa is the continent’s most-established aviation forum, bringing together leading airlines, airports and tourism authorities to discuss air services to, from and within Africa.
2018 event will host some of the biggest names in the industry, including Ethiopian Airlines CEO Tewolde GebreMariam; Raphael Kuuchi, VP for Africa at IATA and Ali Tounsi, SG of ACI Africa.

Prices in the Sol Torremolinos Don Pablo are the same than two weeks ago.
Good location astounding but the staffs are rude and they make me wait so long for the service. They charge me more than what is on the website and did not refund me the manager is not helping with the issue
