Nigeria's leading airline, Air Peace has taken delivery of its second Embraer 145 jet in a bid to end the travel difficulties of the nations’s unserved and underserved cities.
The new aircraft marked 5N-BVD and named Chinonye Ezeani (Nee Onyema) touched down at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos at about 7.10 pm on Friday following a deliver flight from the USA.
It arrived as the carrier was finalizing arrangements for the launch of its flights to Kano and Yola on February 12 and 15 respectively as well as Freetown, Banjul and Dakar on February 19.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Air Peace said it will start flight operations with the Embraer 145 jets as soon as the necessary approvals are secured from the relevant authorities.
The airline will operate into the Nigeria Air Force (NAF) Base, Port Harcourt and connect routes such as Enugu-Kano-Enugu, Benin-Port-Harcourt-Benin, Port-Harcourt-Kano-Port-Harcourt etc.
In three years, Air Peace has increased its fleet to 24 aircraft. The new Embraer 145 is the fifth the airline has received in the last 12 months alone. The others are three Boeing 737 aircraft.
It will be recalled that the airline received the first of six 50-seater new generation Embraer 145 jets on January 31 and immediately set up a subsidiary, Air Peace Hopper.
The carrier, which will soon launch flights to Dubai, London, Houston, Guangzhou, Mumbai and Johannesburg, is expecting the delivery of 4 more Embraer 145 jets, 2 Boeing 777s and a couple of Boeing 737s

Good location astounding but the staffs are rude and they make me wait so long for the service. They charge me more than what is on the website and did not refund me the manager is not helping with the issue
