Namibia will soon abolish visa requirements for Africans as plans to scrap visa requirements for African passport holders is underway after Cabinet authorized the implementation of the process.
This was made known by President Hage Geingob last week during the official opening of the Foreign Policy Review conference in Windhoek, Namibia's capital city.
Namibia will soon start issuing African passport holders with visas on arrival at ports of entry as a first step towards the eventual abolition of all visa requirements for all Africans.
Speaking on Thursday during a Cabinet briefing, Namibia's Minister of Information and Communication Technology, Tjekero Tweya, confirmed that Namibia is ready to implement the diplomatic procedure.
According to him, the visa-free entrance to Namibia is expected to be reciprocated by the other African countries which is being waited upon and will determine the commencement of the implementation of the process.
Namibia and other African states have long considered the possibility of a common continental passport by 2018 as part of the African Union's Agenda 2063.
Situated in southwest Africa, Namibia is distinguished by the Namib Desert along its Atlantic Ocean coast. The country is home to diverse wildlife, including a significant cheetah population.

Good location astounding but the staffs are rude and they make me wait so long for the service. They charge me more than what is on the website and did not refund me the manager is not helping with the issue
