One of Nigeria's international carriers, Medview Airlines, has taken delivery of a Boeing 777-200ER aircraft in an effort to boost its international routes network.
Following a delivery flight from Cambridge, the aircraft with registration no CS-TFM touched down at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, on Tuesday night to the excitement of the airline's staff.
The new generation aircraft which will debut this Sunday on the Lagos-London route, is configured to carry a total of 326 passengers including 24 in business class and 302 in economy class.
The aircraft's business class cabin features lie flat beds while the economy class cabin has spacious seats. Both of the cabins offer personal In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) on each seat.
Speaking at a brief reception, the airline's Chief Operating Officer/Accountable Manager, Engr. Lookman Animashaun, said the deployment of the Boeing 777 on London route is part of the airline strategy to rebrand its international operations, especially the London route.
According to Lookman, the airline would soon commence regional operations to Francophone West African countries including Abidjan (Cote d’ Ivoire), Conakry (Guinea) and Dakar (Senegal).
Medview Airlines began flying between Lagos and London in November, 2015 and has since operated the route with a Boeing 767 and a Boeing 747 which is now being replaced with the new Boeing 777.

Prices in the Sol Torremolinos Don Pablo are the same than two weeks ago.
Good location astounding but the staffs are rude and they make me wait so long for the service. They charge me more than what is on the website and did not refund me the manager is not helping with the issue
