On 11 June, 2017, El Al Israel Airlines presented the airline’s new three-class Boeing 787 Dreamliner fleet which will feature business-class, premium economy and economy cabins.

With a total of 282 seats, EL AL's fleet of Dreamliners promises to offer a dreamy and exciting flight experience to their passengers. The airline expects to take delivery of the first Boeing 787 plane in August.

Featuring 32 lie-flat seats in a 1-2-1 configuration, the new business-class product on the 787 is definitely exciting and will be able to compete with other airlines flying to Israel with similar business class products.

The business class cabin will offer direct aisle access to each passenger with each seat being 21 inches wide and 78 inches long when fully flat.

The luxurious, spacious seat will provide business travellers maximum comfort and privacy, with personal space, so they can relax, work and enjoy sleeping on the full-flat bed seats.

Each business class seat features Panasonic's AVOD IFE system with a 16" HD personal touch screen for quality viewing experience.

The new business class seats are a lot better than the airline's current business class cabin featuring angle-flat seats on its long-haul aircraft.

The new Dreamliners will also feature a new premium economy cabin with 28 seats that are 19 inches wide and arranged in a 2-3-2 pattern.

Each premium economy seat will feature access to power, 38 inches of seat pitch, large Panasonic's AVOD IFE system offering a 13" HD personal touch screen.

The economy class cabin will feature a total of 222 seats arranged in a 3-3-3 configuration, with each seat offering 31 inches of pitch and 17 inches of width.

The economy class seats are ergonomic and designed for long-hail flights. Each seat offers adjustable 6-way headrest, 31" (78 cm) leg room and 5" seat recline.

Beginning in September El Al Israel Airlines will fly the Boeing 787 to London Heathrow and from October will gradually introduce the aircraft on its long-haul destinations in North America and the Far East.

The Boeing 787 is a family of super-efficient airplanes offering passenger-pleasing features including lower cabin altitude, higher humidity, cleaner air, bigger windows and stowage space, mood lightening and heads up display for pilots.
