They say great things come in small sizes but great things can also come in big sizes. This was demonstrated on Friday when a passenger delivered a baby mid-flight onboard an Airbus A380.
The A380 belonging to Emirates was performing flight EK75 from Dubai to Paris when a French woman on board went into labour, and was diverted to Larnaca airport, Cyprus News Agency reported.
At around 7pm, the woman, her husband, and their two children were taken by ambulance to the Larnaca general hospital, where mother and baby were admitted for observation.
The crew of the flight had been permitted to land the plane in Larnaca, but the woman had already given birth upon landing.
Confirming the incident to Arabian Business, the airline's spokesperson said “Emirates can confirm that a passenger travelling onboard Emirates flight EK075, gave birth en route from Dubai to Paris on May 12.”
“We have supported the passenger during this period and her health and safety has of course been paramount. As a result, the flight was diverted to Larnaca International Airport. The aircraft was refuelled and re-departed for Paris with a delay of approximately five hours.”
The spokesperson added the wellbeing and safety of its passengers and crew were of the utmost importance to Emirates and will not be compromised.

Good location astounding but the staffs are rude and they make me wait so long for the service. They charge me more than what is on the website and did not refund me the manager is not helping with the issue
