Even if you do not fly very often (although Kenya Airways would want you to), you can still earn miles with Kenya Airways and their partners as long as you are a Flying Blue member.
Flying Blue is the frequent flyer program of Kenya Airways and their partner airlines including Air France and KLM, and just like every loyalty program, it rewards its members with points. And naturally, the longer or more often you fly, the more Miles you earn.
Luckily, you could earn your Flying Blue Miles your own way and there are so many ways to do just that. Weather you want to earn them in the air or on the ground, it's up to you. The following are the most popular ways to earn miles while flying with Kenya Airways.
On flights
You earn Award Miles when flying with Kenya Airways or their airline partners. All you need to do is mention your Flying Blue number while booking. And if you forgot to mention your Flying Blue number while booking, you can still claim your Miles within 6 months of your flight. Flights with Kenya Airways and their SkyTeam partners also earn you Level Miles which will help you maintain and upgrade your membership level.
On hotels, cars and other products
You can also earn miles when you patronize other Kenya Airways partners making it even easier and faster to earn Miles. Their partner, Driving Blue car services is until 31 January 2017, giving all Flying Blue members the chance to earn twice the Award Miles.
AccorHotels currently has an offer for members staying at Sofitel between 12 December 2016 and 12 February 2017. Marriott is giving out extra Award Miles to members for staying at participating hotels in Europe before 27 March 2017.
In your favourite online shop
If you are one of those who like to shop and earn Miles at the same time, you can do so at your favourite web shop. It`s quick, easy, fun and rewarding! And the best news is the list of web shops that let you earn Award Miles is growing and growing the most popular being iTunes, Domino's, eBay, Zalando, Groupon etc.
