RwandAir to Host 6th Safety in African Aviation Conference

The AviAssist Foundation has announced that the 6th Safety in African Aviation (SiAA) conference will be held in Kigali, Rwanda on 19 and 20 March 2018 and will be hosted by RwandAir.

The announcement was made on the final day of the 2016 Safety in African Aviation conference held in Livingstone, Zambia.

“We are looking forward to bringing SiAA back to Rwanda,” said Tom Kok, the foundation director . “Kigali is a remarkable city in an equally remarkable country and it is fitting that Africa’s premier safety event will be hosted by RwandAir, one of Africa’s fastest growing airlines,” he said.

“I am delighted and honored that the AviAssist Foundation has chosen Kigali as the venue and RwandAir as the host airline for the 2018 Safety in African Aviation conference,” RwandAir deputy chief executive officer Jean Paul Nyirubutama said. “RwandAir is going through major growth and wants to ensure it stays a safety leader in our industry.

Partnering on this event gives us the opportunity not just to continuously invest in our own safety performance but support the region in doing the same. My RwandAir colleagues and I look forward to welcoming the delegates to our home base of Kigali, gateway to Africa.”

AviAssist Foundation is a non-governmental organization that promotes professionalism in African aviation safety. It provides pro-active safety support to aviation organisations in the 24 States of the ICAO East and Southern African region.

Wow! Stunning! Hilton seems to be taking Africa by storm. Just a couple of years back, they opened the first ever in Eswatini.

Thank you for sharing such a detailed review about ethiopian airlines in your post. I am an avid traveller and keep reading flight reviews to assess the options available. Your review particularly drew my attention because you have shared so many pictures to capture every aspect of the flight experience. It is a very nice effort.

I am really tempted to book the next ethiopian airlines ticket and relive your journey. The pictures shared with the post also reflect that you truly enjoyed the travel. Great post! I also like the fact that you have covered nuances about the food and entertainment service through the pictures. It helps people know what to expect on their travel by this airline.
