South African Airways Introduces New Sector to Route Network

South African Airways has enhanced its Central African route network with the main focus being on a much improved service offering to its ever growing client base.

SAA operates to five destinations in Central Africa - Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Douala in Cameroon, Brazzaville and Pointe Noire in the Republic of Congo, and to Libreville in Gabon.

With effect from 31 July SAA will reschedule its flights to operate from Johannesburg to Brazzaville and the same flight then continues to Pointe Noire. The return operation departs from Pointe Noire to Brazzaville where the flight then continues to Johannesburg.

This operation to the Republic of Congo does not utilise any domestic rights, meaning that SAA does not carry any passengers between Brazzaville and Pointe Noire or vice versa.

SAA will continue to serve Cotonou, in Benin and will now do so utilising its service to Libreville, Gabon, effectively introducing a new sector between Libreville and Cotonou.

SAA has secured traffic rights enabling it to pick up and drop off passengers between Libreville and Cotonou in both directions. The flight will depart from Johannesburg to Libreville and then continue to Cotonou returning to Johannesburg via Libreville.

The enhancements to SAA’s route network will enable the airline to offer more frequencies to other markets in its network such as Mauritius and Harare where demand keeps growing.

Wow! Stunning! Hilton seems to be taking Africa by storm. Just a couple of years back, they opened the first ever in Eswatini.

Thank you for sharing such a detailed review about ethiopian airlines in your post. I am an avid traveller and keep reading flight reviews to assess the options available. Your review particularly drew my attention because you have shared so many pictures to capture every aspect of the flight experience. It is a very nice effort.

I am really tempted to book the next ethiopian airlines ticket and relive your journey. The pictures shared with the post also reflect that you truly enjoyed the travel. Great post! I also like the fact that you have covered nuances about the food and entertainment service through the pictures. It helps people know what to expect on their travel by this airline.
